There a several issues and diseases that can weaken bones over a period of time There are some ways that can help prevent bones from weakening though too. After the age of 25 bones stop increase in mass and so over time they become less dense. Calcium is an essential in strengthening bones, some foods can prevent bones from absorbing it. Salt draws calcium out of the bones, processed foods are packed full of salt. Soda can do a multitude of damage to our bones. phosphoric acid, which causes the blood’s acidity to rise. To normalize the blood’s pH levels, the body draws calcium out of the bones. Soda also contains caffeine it it which causes bones to leach calcium. Alcohol prevents calcium from being absorbed by the body and also prevents bones to regenerate after an injury.
